Environmental Laboratory
Environmental Chemist/Lab Analyst - Holt, Michigan Office
We are currently seeking a qualified Environmental Chemist/Lab Analyst for
our laboratory located at headquarters in Holt, Michigan. This is a salaried,
exempt position. The selected individual will work as part of a team to provide
our clients with high quality analytical testing of waters, soil/sediment, solids
and air. Preferred experience includes working with Hewlett Packard/Agilent GC
and GC/MS instruments using purge and trap systems.
Position Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree, Chemistry preferred
Preferred experience includes working in progressively challenging laboratory roles
such as: operation and equipment maintenance skills on GC/MS and GC; data review;
knowledge of EPA methods and QA/QC
Lab experience with GC/MS and/or GC required
Knowledge of safe laboratory practices, including the proper procedures in handling
chemicals and unknown environmental samples
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented individual
Competency with computer software
Candidate must have authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
